It divides families, influences critical decisions, and fuels greed and destruction. You can call this evil whatever you wish but you cannot deny that it exists, You have only to turn on the news and pay attention to what is happening in the lives of people everywhere to know it is real. I choose to call this evil the devil.

There are two major reasons for the book. First, I was appalled by the 3,000 people who die every week from unnecessary drugs and surgery and the incredible public ignorance as to what represents rational safe and effective healthcare and how the AMA Committee on Quackery was trying to destroy our profession using Nazi tactics. There is an unholy alliance of the pharmaceutical companies and MD’s which is financially profitable for them but it is not in the public’s best interest. We need closer cooperation of all health care professions with rational utilization of all of our treatment options where chiropractic is proven safer and more effective. Every 14 minutes someone dies from prescription medications while chiropractic may reduce some of these unnecessary drug related (iatrogenic) deaths.
Second, I realized that the devil intervenes into healthcare, politics, churches, courts and families by working covertly and getting away with murder and not being recognized as the real instigator. My purpose is to expose the devil as a real person and not some symbol of evil or silly cartoon character with horns and a trident pitchfork.
